The PrOOF Project was started in November 2014 as a vehicle to address the unnecessary disparities in Urban Education. Research shows that minority children of lower economic status are subject to limited exposure, less experienced teachers, poor resources, and environments that are not conducive to personal, emotional, or social growth.
The mission of The PrOOF Project is to guide today’s youth through the journey of preparing for tomorrow. Our goal is to uplift communities that have been marginalized and disenfranchised as a result of race or socioeconomic status. We endeavor to offer children, educators, and families the tools needed to experience success.
Our strategy is to ‘Recreate the Village.’ In reference to the old adage, “It takes a village to raise a child,” we seek to reintroduce a culture of collaboration in urban education.
